Our communities are becoming more sophisticated, more digitally connected, and more demanding of excellence from their service providers.

At Strata Community Insurance, advocacy has been at the centre of what we do. We leverage our expertise to drive positive change and ensure the voices of strata communities are heard at every level of government and industry. 

We support the strata community by sponsoring and partnering with various industry bodies and are involved in developing and delivering papers to government committees, industry publications and the general media.

Underwriting Agencies Council (UAC) 

As proud members of UAC, we support initiatives that monitor and develop positions on insurance regulation affecting underwriting agencies, represent interests with regulatory and government bodies, and promote underwriting agencies as an economically efficient means of insurance distribution. 

Academic Research Partnerships

We support the strata community by sponsoring and partnering with various industry bodies, including:

  • Multi Owned Properties Research Hub 

We collaborate with leading researchers like Dr Nicole Johnston, supporting evidence-based research that informs policy development and industry best practices. This includes contributing to studies on: 

  • Strata sector trends and challenges
  • Insurance market dynamics
  • Risk management innovations
  • Community resilience strategies 

Industry Body Collaboration

Working closely with organisations like the Strata Community Association (SCA), we contribute to national advocacy efforts that strengthen the entire strata ecosystem.
